Communication is the key to enhancing young learners’ social skills. Everyone is learning how to play and express themselves in small groups. They always look forward to completing the alphabet, counting to 50, and recognizing their classmates’ first and last names.
The children’s motor skills along with creativity are continuously developed. In small groups, they work one on one on cutting, patterning, and writing letters and numbers. The children exert their best in painting and pasting and in writing their own names.
The students complete their letter themed books and puppets weekly. They also act out nursery rhymes and recite stories. They sing many songs and do hand actions and fingerplays.
Learning always begins by mixing mastery with fun. During morning circle time children recite the Pledge of Allegiance and review all letters and sounds highlighting the letter and number of the week. Afterward, they talk about the calendar and recite the days of the week and the months of the year. Then weather and monthly holidays are discussed.

What Parents Like You Have To Say
"The teachers REALLY care! I can't say that enough. It is everything. I HIGHLY recommend this place. They are flexible and the kids come out so advanced. I will miss them dearly when my son leaves there after kindergarten, but as soon as my daughter is old enough, she will be there!"
"This school is AMAZING. They have gone above and beyond to exceed my expectations. We miss the staff tremendously. I find comfort in knowing I have found a place for my 1 year old to experience and enjoy just as much as his big sister does. "
"We have had a child at Academy of Excellence for almost six years and plan on doing so for another three more at least. I’ve always said that this isn’t just a school- it’s a family. It’s more than just a school because not only is the learning top notch, but the kids acquire important life lessons and how to value all those around them."
